George Carscallen

  He was born in  Fredriksburgh on April 9th 1842.He was a political figure. George Carscallen  repersned Lennox wich was a federal district, from 1902-1917 as a member.

   He was the son of Isaac Carscallen. His first job was he became a painter then he undertook a parntership with his brother John Carscallen. He was married  to a beautieful woman named Melinda Mair. After his partnership with his brither,he became a town council member ( he had served for eight years.) After  he became a member of the council  he became the mayor from 1889-1890 then 1900-1901.In 1888 he was wanted to become a United conties of Lennox. He sufferd  a horriable  illness of the lungs that had cost him his life. he died while in offic in 1917.
