Valiant Sixty[edit]

It is currently stated that the Thomas Holme of this article was a member the the Valiant Sixty, the set of very early Quaker missionaries. I think this is incorrect. The Thomas Holme who belonged to the Valiant Sixty was, I believe, a different Thomas Holme, born in 1626/7, converted to Quakerism in 1652, who became effectively a Quaker apostle to Wales, and who was buried near Cardiff in 1666. He has an ODNB entry, 'Holme, Thomas, (1626/7–1666)' and it is he who features in Braithwaite's The Beginnings of Quakerism and works which cover the Valiant 60, like Elfrida Vipont's George Fox and the Valiant Sixty.

Should we delete the sentence saying the Thomas of this article was one of the Valiant Sixty? Mfcayley (talk) 12:50, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
