Serious Issues[edit]

This article is in need of serious revision, its style is far from that of a typical Wikipedia article and rather resembles that of an obituary, and certainly could use some additional citations and refrences. Additionally, I'm quite certain that Sir Thomas had once led an important committee plotting the UK civil defence programme early during the cold war, which is not mentioned here.
