Catholicism[edit]

I have found no other evidence or citation of the fact that Thomas Penn opposed the establishment of Catholicism in Pennsylvania, unless someone else has information I have been unable to locate that paragraph at least should be removed.

French Claims to western part of PA[edit]

"Part of the difficulty lay in the conflict with the French who laid claim on the back country west of Pennsylvania" --there is no possible connection between the "Walking Purchase" and potential, later French claims on the western frontier in Pennsylvania. The two areas were at opposite ends of the future state of PA, hundreds of miles separated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.15.139.37 (talk) 00:39, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
