Brighton Market[edit]

Just a note to say that the Encyclopaedia of Brighton (1990) attributes the original Brighton Market in Market Street to Simpson, but I believe this is an error because it was built in 1828–30, far too early for his involvement. (The market was then rebuilt anyway in 1900–01 and subsequently demolished.) Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 12:36, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
