perhaps the most bracingly direct synthetic approach[edit]
Put some ThO2 in a tube furnace, heat to 500°C, and pass CCl4 vapour through the thing. Watch out for the phosgene! Double sharp (talk) 02:35, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
