GA Review[edit]

Lead
  • "Three Rivers Stadium was a stadium located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1970 to 2000." As per Heinz Field. I would say what kind of stadium it is.
  • "The stadium was home to the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers," The first sentence uses stadium twice, which can't really be helped. However, because of that I would change this sentence to "It was home ..."
History
  • "A proposal for a new sports stadium in Pittsburgh was first made in 1948, however, plans did not attract much attention until the latter 1950s." I really think this should be late 1950s.
Events
  • "Pittsburgh's Richie Hebner got the first hit in the stadium," Got is a fairly poor English word due to its huge set of meanings. I would suggest changing it for another word.
General
  • I'll add the same note here as as Heinz Field about non-breaking spaces between numerals and units. Though I did notice a couple.

Again a couple of minor points to address, so I'll put it on hold. Peanut4 (talk) 19:07, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About the non-breaking spaces, Is it all numbers/units? Like "48,846 spectators" too? Everything else has been addressed. Blackngold29 00:36, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Pretty much. Anything with a numeral and the corresponding unit. See WP:NBSP for more details. Peanut4 (talk) 00:43, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another good article. Well done. I reckon there's more scope for expansion on this one, than at Heinz Field, so would suggest seeing if there's anything you can think to expand, find any more sources or find anyone who can help with expansion, before deciding whether to go to FAC. However nice work. Peanut4 (talk) 01:14, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
