Talk:Thyas honesta

Howdy, the date for this species is listed here as 1806. This is probably taken from J.D. Holloway's "Moths of Borneo". I'm fairly sure this date is wrong. Holloway himself names the volume as "Zuträge Samml. exot. Schmett., 2 (Index): 4.", which corresponds to this volume supposedly from 1823. Other authors list either Thyas and/or its type species honesta as Hübner, 1824 - without parenthesis. If the genus Thyas was erected in 1824 (and Wikipedia seems to agree on that), there is just no way you can list the species as 1806 without the use of parenthesis. Hence, I'm assuming the date in MoB is erratic and that the date of 1824 used by other authors makes more sense. Unfortunately I can't seem to find a digital copy of the original volume by Hübner anywhere online, so I can't make sure. Will change the date from 1806 to 1824 next however, based on the above. If you have better info/logic please share and correct (back?). Cheers, Arp
