To Tige Andrews' son[edit]

Thanks so much for adding and correcting information in this article. I don't think I've ever had one of my articles vetted by a family member. Just so you know, the date listed next to your mother's name indicates the years they were married, not her birth and death. I also made one or two changes to the tone of the article; you are justifiably proud of your father's work, but unfortunately Wikipedia articles strive to maintain a Neutral Point of View.

Do you have a picture of your father that you can post to this site? I looked for one on line, but I couldn't find a non-copyrighted pic. Also, was your father Syrian or Lebanese? I found conflicting information about this in my research. Konczewski 16:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I know a lot about my father and would love to add anything that you might think to ask me about. My Mom and Dad were married in 1950, where Ed Sullivan paid for their reception hall. There were many famous actors there at the time. I have a nice article about it. I have a lot of photos, how do I upload them? I'm new to this, but am happy to contribute all that you might want. My father was 100% Syrian, I've seen conflicting infromation on that as well, thanks for asking. I'm not sure if this is the right way to speak to you, using this Edit This Page thing. Do you have an email address, or am I doing this correctly?

Tony

I tried uploading a file (A photo of my mom and Dad) and I don't know where it ended up! I wrote something like ... This is one of the many photo's I have of my Dad. This is a classic one of my Dad with my Mom, Norma Thornton. Can you help me find it, or put it in the proper place on the Tige Andrews article? If you show me how, I can upload as many photos as you might want. The file is called Mom and Dad.jpg

The best way to talk to me is to click on my name in my first message; this will take you to my User Page. There you can add messages to my talk page. You can also start your own user page. Go to the history page for this article, click on your name, and fill in whatever info you want. You can click on other user names and see how they've set up their pages. Oh, and when you post a message on a Talk page, be sure to put four tildes (that the ~ mark just to the left of the #1 key on your keyboad. That will "sign" your name and date the post.

Information on uploading photos can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Uploading_images When in doubt, click on Help in the navigation menu on the left. I think the best picture of your father would probably be a publicity photo, or a still from one of his TV or film performances.Konczewski 14:45, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures from Tony[edit]

Tony, the pictures were great. I took the headshot and moved it into Tige's infbox, then moved the group shot from "The Mod Squad" down the page. I'm not sure why the spacing is off, but I'll try to fix that later. I deleted the other pictures, since Wikipedia usually tries to limit the number of photos to one or two per article. Thanks again for your help.Konczewski 18:49, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. This is all new to me. Are those other pictures available to see somwhere or are they totally deleted off of Wikipedia altogether? Please let me know if there is anything else you might be interested in about his life or anything that you would want to add. ~

Very sad indeed[edit]

I had requested this article be created as far back as April 2006. It is very sad that it took his passing for it to be put into motion.
