"more safer"?

If you're going to lock the article at least correct the mistake ;)

The "Release date" should not be in the Lead? huh?

The Release date is MOST notable as this is what makes the song a single. I am shocked if GA 'singles' articles do not mention it in the Lead summary. Even if it is perhaps not mandatory, I'm sure that it is not forbidden and actually common to do so.—Iknow23 (talk) 02:28, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

It's in the infobox, the premiere date in radio (which is the same as the digital release) is in the lead. I would agree if it was a completely different date. Xwomanizerx (talk) 02:35, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
The radio premiere being the same date as "Release' is kind of like a coincidence. Why can't the 'Release date' be plainly stated as well as the radio premiere? The only way for someone to know that the dates are the same is to look at the "Radio premiere and release history" section. The Lead (summary) can repeat material that is shown later in the article.—Iknow23 (talk) 02:44, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we put a new Infobox single next to the Femme Fatle Remix part? After all, it was released as a brand new single? Just and idea, please tell me if you's agree of disagree. --SATURDAYmight. (talk) 21:03, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

BILLBOARD HOT 100

Katy Perry's "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, spends a fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (May 5) on Billboard.com, while Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends" soars back into the top 10, and to a new chart peak, fueled by its superstar-studded remix.

"E.T." (2-1) remains atop the Hot 100 courtesy of a second week at No. 1 on Radio Songs (138 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS) and sixth week in charge of Digital Songs. As previously reported, "E.T." sold slightly more than 300,000 downloads (down 13%), according to Nielsen SoundScan, edging out Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," which holds at No. 2 on the sales ranking (just under 300,000; up 1%) and the Hot 100.

The slim margin (roughly 500 downloads) between the top two titles on Digital Songs marks the tightest race atop the tally since Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" and Eminem's "When I'm Gone" each sold approximately 41,000 the week of Dec. 24, 2005.

"Deep" claims the Hot 100's Airplay Gainer award, powered by its 12-7 advance on Radio Songs (77 million, up 24%).

Spears' "Till the World Ends" blasts 11-3, besting its previous peak of No. 9, as the Hot 100's Digital Gainer following the release of its much-buzzed-about remix featuring Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha. "World" roars 12-3 on Digital Songs with 246,000 downloads sold (up 102%). The triple-threat remix accounted for 167,000, or 68%, of the title's sales in the April 25-May 1 tracking period.

"World" marks the second high-profile remix - both involving Spears - to spur a headline-grabbing chart move in three weeks. Rihanna's "S&M" ascended 2-1 two weeks ago following the release of its remix featuring Spears. All versions of "S&M" sold a combined 293,000 downloads that week, a gain comparable (up 108%) to that of "World" this week. Likewise similar to "World," the Spears-assisted remix of "S&M" accounted for 66% of the song's overall digital sales that frame.

The Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough" dips 3-4 on the Hot 100, while Bruno Mars notches his fifth top 10 in as many tries, as "The Lazy Song" rises 6-5.

"S&M" slips 4-6 on the Hot 100, ahead of Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor," featuring Pitbull (7-7). The latter song is expected to exhibit gains on next week's Hot 100 and Digital Songs charts after Lopez temporarily trades her judge's chair for the stage when she and Pitbull perform the track on "American Idol" tomorrow night (May 5).

Jennifer Lopez 'Love?': Track-by-Track Review

Ke$ha's "Blow" lifts 9-8 on the Hot 100, Jeremih's "Down on Me" featuring 50 Cent, slides 5-9 and Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now," featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, drops 8-10.

The "Glee" cast scores the top three debuts on this week's Hot 100, led by its mashup of the "West Side Story" song "I Feel Pretty" and TLC's "Unpretty" at No. 22. On Digital Songs, "I Feel Pretty"/"Unpretty" starts at No. 13 (112,000). The ensemble's covers of Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" (75,000) and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" (73,000) follow at Nos. 42 and 44, respectively. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.13.216.144 (talk) 22:13, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Chart Box

Whats going on with the chart box? Everytime I look at this page something has changed on there, the chart position of the same chart can change several times a day. That's a tad ridiculous. I think if its fans exagarating/slash haters hating continuously then this page may call for some kind of protection or something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.9.148.187 (talk) 13:24, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Edit to "Composition" section

<original>Composition

"Till the World Ends" A 22-second sample of Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends", features Spears singing over a dance-electropop sound. Problems listening to this file? See media help.

"Till the World Ends" is an uptempo dance-pop and electropop song, with an electro beat and elements of trance and Eurodance.[3][9][10][11] The song opens with sirens and a "sizzling" bassline.[12][13] Spears delivers confident and breathy vocals, in lyrics such as "If you want this good shit / Sicker than the remix / Baby let me blow your mind tonight."[3][14] In the chorus, the song slows down while Spears sings "I can't take it take it take no more / Never felt like felt like this before / Come on get me get me on the floor / DJ what you what you waiting for?". The 4:3 cross-rhythm of the melody continues into a chant-like segment, in which "whoa-oh-oh-oh" is repeated.[13][14]</original>

<edit>Please edit the portion that says the chant-like section of the melody is in a 4:3 cross-rhythm. That portion of the song is in fact in 5:4 NOT 4:3. The song is definitely in four beats, not three. The five syllables of "Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh" fall over four beats and the final "Ohh" landing on a new beat.

No edits other than changing the "4:3 cross-rhythm" to "5:4 cross-rhythm" are necessary.</edit>

Tracklistings.

If you look here, I changed the tracklisting up so it would go better with the article. However Xwomanizerx doesn't like it. I changed it simply to improve the appearance a little, I think the {{tracklist}} template looks better with the articles. Nicholas (talk) 00:50, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

WP:MOS; "The MoS presents Wikipedia's house style, to help editors produce articles with consistent, clear, and precise language, layout, and formatting." Unless you plan on gaining consensus to change 99% of articles that use the present form and plan to change them all, i oppose this change. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 01:12, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
Agree with above. It's the standard. — Status {talkcontribs  03:37, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
I also oppose this change, it's the standard. There are several Britney GAs with the actual format, like From the Bottom of My Broken Heart, Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know, Anticipating, etc. - Sauloviegas (talk) 09:36, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
MOS aside, what is the purpose then of changing the "look" of it? --Efe (talk) 14:08, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
I actually did plan on updating all the Britney articles with this. Nicholas (talk) 16:24, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
