db-person/notability[edit]

References either don't work (4) or seem to link to authors own blog; as such this seems to be based on little more than self promotion (re:SPIP). No significant coverage independent of the subject specifically regarding the subject. Zaq12wsx (talk) 22:47, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • What you say appears to be true, but see CSD A7: the article does make credible claims of significance/importance, so to get this deleted you'll have to PROD or AFD it.  —SMALLJIM  23:36, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have completely rewritten the article and I think it's fine now. Jonathan A Jones (talk) 11:31, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal for deletion[edit]

The man is a despicable figure, and certainly does not deserve to be mentioned on wikipedia. I urge the administrators to delete this drivel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.143.230.177 (talk) 12:55, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not censored, and just because one is a despicable figure does not qualify for a person to be deleted. For instance, there is a article on Adolf Hitler, deleting it would make no sense as Wikipedia is intended to store information and history. And should you find said person despicable, would it not be in your favour to keep the article so people may learn why said figure is despicable? — Félix Wolf (talk | contribs) 13:03, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your prompt reply Felix, what I meant was that the aforementioned individual has neither the merit nor the influence to be referred to on wikipedia. The individual in question is a mere jester in British politics and has no influence whatsoever in current events. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.143.230.177 (talk) 11:24, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
