Territories and Crown Dependencies[edit]
Currently the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland operates only one time zone namely UTC/GMT with daylight savings time. The Channel Islands and Isle of Man are crown dependencies which happen to follow the exact same arrangements due to their geographical closeness. - It doesnt it appears to be an unreferenced made up thing so I have removed it. Cant really see the relevance of List of UTC offsets in the UK, its territories and Crown Dependencies either as these should really have individual Time in Foo articles. MilborneOne (talk) 19:15, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Do the Time Acts have any power to punish, other than zero power?[edit]
What if a city or county/counties etc. said, we are sick of losing an hour of daylight every day for a few months every year, we are going to stay on Summer Time permanently. Middle More Rider (talk) 19:32, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
