Untrue assertion about 2-way transfer[edit]

Another drawback is that the source of reference needs to be actively measuring slaves

The above need not be true of time transfer by Internet. Slave PCs can "ping" the source to determine their own round-trip delay and no activity is needed by the source which has only to be present on the Internet. Cuddlyable3 (talk) 12:32, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
