- Good call! It's inexcusable that every retelling of history seems to only begin when the white people show up demanding spices or whatever. This should be corrected, though it *is* difficult to get what WP considers "reliable sources" for information that's exclusively from oral traditions. Copyright material[edit]
It's possible that this material, from its very first edit, was copied from http://www.bytownmuseum.com/en/timeline.html and it is possible that it's probably not OK to do this. I'm not sure how this materal has been here so long when the wording of so much of it is the same wording as the bytown museum website. If I had one more person agreeing with me, I'd go through the material and remove all content that is that same as the Bytown site. It may not be a terribly serious issue currently, but it may be some day, just to let you know.SunKing2 (talk) 11:17, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
