awards[edit]

I removed the following as promotional but don't have a strong opinion if someone feels they meet guidelines:

American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. She has served on the Board of Directors and served in leadership positions for the ASDS, ASLMS, and WDS and also on the Board of Visitors of Duke University Medical Center during which time she established her namesake scholarship endowments for women pursuing careers in medicine.

Her awards have included the 2001 Leon Goldman Lectureship Award from the ASLMS, 2003 Influencer of the Year, 2004 Sturge-Weber Foundation tribute recipient, 2006 ASDS Public Service Award, 2009 Women's Dermatologic Society Mentor of the Year Award, 2014 Women's Dermatologic Society Legacy Award, 2017 American Academy of Dermatology (ADD) Presidential Citation, 2018 American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS) Leadership, Mentorship & Public Advocacy for Women in Medical Science Award, 2019 Dermatology Foundation Practitioner of the Year Award, and 2019 ASDS Samuel Stegman Award for Distinguished Service, the society's highest honor.

Notability[edit]

@WikiOriginal-9: I am on the fence with this one but with the bar for WP:NACADEMICS so low it would likely pass AfD. Pinging you here in case you want it for AfD since I see you have a history with the prior decline. CNMall41 (talk) 21:36, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
