Inyo National Forest[edit]

Is this really in Inyo National Forest? The maps I have looked at put the lake itself outside. The protected area seems to stop on its shores, letting the body of water out. Thierry Caro (talk) 14:19, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure you mean the Inyo National Forest? The Hall Natural Area and the Hoover Wilderness don't cover the lake, but the lake seems firmly within the boundaries of the National Forest —hike395 (talk) 16:42, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The maps I could look at are not detailed enough to let me know whether or not it is only the smaller protected areas that stop on the shores. If you say the forest include the body of water, then I am going to trust the status quo. Thank you. Thierry Caro (talk) 19:17, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
