Naming[edit]

As far as I can see, it was in fact renamed to Tlokwe - see the official notice in the Gazette. - htonl (talk) 19:36, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, no problem as long as they stick to a single name for a while, lol.--Underlying lk (talk) 01:52, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Re the etymology: I don't have a big objection to having it on this page, but there is an "Origins of the name" section in the Potchefstroom article which we could perhaps refer to instead. Incidentally, thanks for all the work you're putting into the SA municipality articles! - htonl (talk) 02:26, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tlokwe or Thlokwe?[edit]

Well I guess the title gives away what I'm going to ask, is it spelt Tlokwe or Thlokwe? There was similar confusion with Pholokwane and Mookgophong. Bezuidenhout (talk) 15:23, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Tlokwe", no "h". See the Gazette link in my comment above. - htonl (talk) 17:47, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
