Clean up of the page.[edit]

There was a great deal of excessive information on this page. A comprehensive listing of Witteles' cashes in minor poker tournaments does not seem worthy of record in wikipedia. If people want an exhaustive list of Witteles career poker tournament cashings, the Hendon Mob Database is an excellent resource for that, amongst others. Unless you get first in a notable event, there are very few "cashes" that are worth mentioning. The WSOP main event, the 50K WSOP Horse event, the WPT 25K championship, maybe a couple of others. But getting 12th place in a minor WSOP limit event does not seem worth listing, nor is winning a random 500 dollar tournament. I think listening Witteles's WSOP Limit bracelet, along with a citing of his general tournament total cashes, is more than enough information to have on his tournament career.

I reverted your 'clean up'. There might be a little repetition/fluff but this should be dealt with thoughtfully. Wholesale deletion of half the content of the article, without considering what's left behind, is unhelpful. Hazir (talk) 21:56, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree completely. Compare Witteles page with any other poker players. No other players have such an exhaustive catalog of such minor accomplishments. Is it's wikipedia's goal to catalog non-events? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xapxapxap (talkcontribs) 22:24, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
