Marketing on my Wikipedia? More likely than you think![edit]

It's sad that almost the whole article is a 1:1 copy from tokudb's site (FAQ under Resources). They activel link to this wiki page from a few of their pages, basically supporting their claims with their claims. So, this whole article is a violation of show not tell, as it doesn't point out what are fractal tree indexes, how they work and why they are better for this particular task than B-trees.

I'm not a deletionist (or how they're labeled these days), so I'll just put big warning tags all over the article [that everybody ignores anyways]. PAStheLoD (talk) 04:36, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Why not an article on Acunu, which is pretty similar to TokuDB.

Also, the Fractal Trees here are the same as Acunu's Doubling Array; it may be useful to actually describe these techniques instead of advertise TokuDB. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2620:0:1008:100A:617F:D3D1:CF74:EE1E (talk) 20:15, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why does Fractal in "Fractal Tree" link to the Fractal article? The "fractal tree" moniker is more advertising than anything. These structures have very little to do with fractals, and a lot to do with fractional cascading. 68.11.77.136 (talk) 21:18, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
