I worked with Tommy Bond[edit]

I worked with Tommy Bond at KFSN in Fresno, California in the late 1980's and early '90's before he retired. Despite his tough guy role in the Our Gang films, Tommy was one of the most caring and friendly people I ever met in the television business. He was a can-do guy in the studio and a very hard worker.

When he retired, he gave me a retirement gift, a framed photograph of himself in an Our Gang movie. I still have it today.

He was a good man. I was sorry to hear we lost him.
