Arguably the transliteration into Roman characters should reflect Modern Greek pronunciation, since that's what is used liturgically; thus, "Ton Despotin ke Arkhierea imon, Kirie filate, is polla eti, Despota" rather than the (correct for Classical Greek) transcription "Ton Despόtēn kai Arkhieréa hēmōn, Kýrie phýlatte, eis pollá etē, Déspota", which indicates more accurately what Greek characters are used, but is misleading about the pronunciation. I agree. Those interested in the Greek characters will seldom need the transscription, those, on the other hand, that cannot read Greek will mostly also be unable to pronounce this exact transliteration correctly.
