The area was NOT used "as a dump" in the 1960s.[edit]

I have already changed the passage, specifically 1960s to 1980s. I attended that school (class of 1975), and the springs area was definitely not a dump at the time. It really rubs me the wrong way because it's as much as to say that we who attended the school back then would have allowed this to happen. I don't know when things went south, but it was definitely after 1975.
