Game Engine[edit]

Does anyone know the name of the game engine (i.e., middleware) used in the development of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground? Is it third-party or in-house? Aeonassoc 15:30, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

characters appearing in the game[edit]

isin't paul rodrigeuz supposed to be in the game?

and rodney mullen?
Rodney Mullen is set to appear in the game, but I believe Paul Rodriquez made the switch to EA's Skate. ArmyOfPie 06:16, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't you use a female in the game, like you could in Project 8? I was kinda disappointed about that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.4.41.58 (talk) 19:59, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

guese what tony hawks is the worst game ever created —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.139.55.204 (talk) 10:12, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gameplay section is awful.[edit]

The Gameplay section needs a complete rewrite. There is no information there, and it's probably one of the worst-written paragraphs I've ever read on Wikipedia. 67.49.141.210 18:48, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page Set-Up[edit]

The set-up of the page is really bad, it's needs to be fixed —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattpage023 (talkcontribs) 05:47, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

xbox 360[edit]

the article says guitar hero 3 is only on xbox 360 but it's on the ps3 site as a ps3 game —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.59.18.52 (talk) 10:52, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's saying that the Guitar Hero 3 demo will only be included in the Xbox 360 version of Tony Hawks Proving Ground. SeanMooney 11:13, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bryce Kanights[edit]

Please stop adding his name to the skaters, he is a photographer, not a skateboarder. If you need proof, just Google his name and look at the first result.ArmyOfPie 11:46, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

bam's class[edit]

i have seen conflicting web reports listing bam as both hardcore and rigger.can someone cite either one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.19.138.68 (talk) 04:05, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On the official website it says that you will see him "on the rigging path" so that definitely confirms him as a Rigger.ArmyOfPie 16:37, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit[edit]

I edited the bonus features where it mentions GUN and moved it to the demo section. You think it's okay? Bleach 2982 10:12PM, 25 Sept. 2007 —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 03:12, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chad Muska[edit]

Will chad muska be on the game because on Muskas wiki site it says he will be on the game

His name is not listed in the skaters on the official website, so he is more than likely not in the game.ArmyOfPie 05:59, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page is looking up[edit]

Looks like the page is starting to get a lot better. Still needs some work, but it's a lot better then when I first saw it.ArmyOfPie 05:59, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Soundtrack[edit]

I'd appreciate it if people stopped removing the soundtrack for now until we can get it resolved on if it should be there or not. Let's discuss it here.ArmyOfPie 07:22, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe Jasca Ducato described it best in the summary when re-adding the soundtrack to the page: "this article is here to describe the game and its different aspects, including the soudtrack". The soundtrack is information regarding the game; it's not some random list of songs about a random topic that has and will continue to have an indefinite length. The soundtrack is set in stone and has been officially stated, and will most likely remain that way. The only other songs in the game are custom soundtracks that come as part of the Xbox 360 version, which obviously are not important. --GVOLTT How's my editing?\My contribs 20:08, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well said.ArmyOfPie 09:54, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Tony-hawks-proving-ground-20070813114616037.jpg[edit]

Image:Tony-hawks-proving-ground-20070813114616037.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Stop removing the soundtrack[edit]

Some people keep removing the sound track (not just from this but the whole series). For no aparent reason at least explain why you are before you do it please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.162.217.46 (talk) 16:00, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
