'Bergman' or 'Bergmann'?[edit]

I know nothing about Bergman except that the title page of the 1785 English translation of his Dissertation on Elective Attractions ([1]), says "By Torbern Bergmann". Is this an error on the part of the translator or publisher? —Mark Dominus (talk) 19:13, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
