What about merging this well-written article into either torsion spring or torsion (mechanics)? There's really not enough material for a full article, and since the torsion coefficient is a property of torsion springs, it could be covered there. --Chetvorno 19:36, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are a few other definitions of torsion coefficient. I googled it and found out of 22 references:

  • 6 referred to torsion springs (this definition)
  • 9 referred to mathematical topics
  • 3 referred to a parameter used in the design of electric motors
  • 4 referred to a property of electromagnetic forces
