Does it matter wether he saw the bear? I Really don't think it matters if he saw the spirit bear or not, no one believes Cole anyway.

The Spirit Bear was a reflection of Cole's inner journey and represented the incident with Peter Driscal. Cole beat Peter senseless out of his own anger, and, as it turned out, he could do nothing to make up for it. The Spirit Bear mauled Cole to the brink of death, but showed mercy and later even a more tender side as he lay helpless on the shore. Cole couldn't reverse what the Spirit Bear had done to him just as he couldn't reverse what he had done to Peter, both of which were caused by his anger. It was an important symbol to the whole point of the story: Cole overcoming his anger and realizing the need for change and obtaining it. Kochdude388 (talk) 01:12, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My article edit[edit]

I removed all text after the fifth paragraph in the Plot section, but after deleting the text from there, I think the details need to be altered in the middle of some other paragraphs. It would be great if somebody else could help with that. Darkk100 (talk) 18:49, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
