Old latin names?[edit]

It would be helpful to have a list of previous latin names, (plecotus townsendii) with the date of acceptance of change, and a reference to the reason for the change. It gives a better sense of how things fit and why. Also, it's useful when searching, when one only knows one name which might be archaic. Aefields (talk) 04:37, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
