Some problems[edit]

The Comrails website makes no mention of 'The Express' - however trove finds the usage.

The train itself ran between as a Commonwealth railway train between Kalgoorlie and Port Augusta - I find no evidence that the named train extended the service beyond those locations with that name following the standard gauge extensions.

I was under the assumption than when through passenger services between perth and sydney were commenced - it was known as the Indian Pacific, however there is a possibility that between 1969 and 1990 (?) a service known by another name (not Trans Australian express) was being run by the different operators in that time sats 09:27, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not - the changing to 'Trans Australian' in the text - when the article has Express in the title - and the trove reference specifically refers to the early name. Suggest usage of the two names is more accurate sats 13:13, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
