Relevance justification[edit]
I'm one of the engineers on the TransPAC2 project. I can certainly add more information about the network, but this article was created to be similar to the long-standing articles on the similarly noteworthy Internet2 Abilene Network and National LambdaRail. The TransPAC2 project is notable for creating a high-speed research interconnect between Asia and North America and has helped spawn the development of countless developments in the R&E space. I'm not the direct author of this document, though I made a few edits after it was posted. Understand that the TransPAC2 project has a place of significance in the development of high speed research networking. -Chrobb 22:35, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
