This article reads like an advert for the company. It needs major editing. Mojo-chan 17:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I fail to see how that is so, it reads to me like description of the company and what it does. How else is it meant to be described? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.240.229.3 (talkcontribs) 11:54, 16 July, 2007 (UTC)

The 'Travelbodge' link is not appropriate and should not take prominence over the Travelodge's website! --Olster99 (talk) 20:59, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How is the 'David and Jean Davidson stay' section related with the rest of the article? Hattima (talk) 13:01, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Needs a tidy up for quality[edit]

This article reads like an advert, most of the text appears to have been taken from promotional material — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zethzeth (talkcontribs) 14:57, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date information[edit]

Hello Wiki community. This is James, and I am an employee from Travelodge. I’d like to take a moment to point out information on the Travelodge UK page which needs updating.

Most of this information can be found in our financial results for the year ended 2014: https://www.travelodge.co.uk/press-centre/press-releases/Travelodge-Financial--

In particular I propose changing: • Number of rooms as mentioned in first paragraph from 31,600 to 38,000 rooms • Number of locations from 456 in the UK to 503 in the UK • Name of chairman from Keith Hamill to Brian Wallace (https://www.travelodge.co.uk/press-centre/executive-team) • Revenue: £497.2m (2014) up 14.9% • EBITDA: £66.2m (2014) up 63.5% • Number of employees: 10,000 • Image change (A typical Travelodge room) to the image of the new room, which now features in 90% of guest rooms (https://www.travelodge.co.uk/press-centre/image-bank) Many thanks

Missing description information[edit]

The is a section for History, and one for Criticism, but basic information about the hotel chain is missing, eg: what part of the market do they serve (budget / motel), where do they locate their hotels (originally by A-roads for the motel market, but more lately in other places), how many stars do they have, what is their business model, what eating arrangements do they have (often co-located restaurant of another brand, for recent refurbs, a bar & cafe).
