Untitled[edit]

Treloar College was a seperate entity from the school. Upto 1978 Treloar College was sited in Upper Froyle, Hampshire and was a boys only Collage with students aged from 14 to 18 years old & had Cricket, Football, Water Polo & Handball Team which competed against other schools & Colleges in the area & at national level @ Stoke Mandeville.

Though a college for disabled students, a fair amount of independance was expected; being able to bathe & dress etc as little in the way of of 'carers' was available. The Curriculum was based around secondary education upto O & A levels with City & Guilds options in Electronics, Tailoring, Cobbling & Clerical.

The College had a distinctive uniform; For the Senior House, it was a Royal Blue Blazer, a senior house tie & grey trousers. For the junior houses it was a Green Blazer, junior house tie & grey trousers. Both blazers had the college crest on its breast pocket & had to be worn when not on campus.

The College motto & crest do not appear on the schools/college facebook page giving offence to some former students (pre 78)

Treloar school was an all girls school in Hollybourne Hampshire & catered for similar aged girls to the boys college & on a student level there was very little interaction between the two until the early 1970s when girls started to join the colleges drama group.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Wonhung low (talkcontribs) 22:33, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a clear link within the existing page to Treloar College article. Not sure how relevant the information suggested would be to the current School article. I agree though the information suggested would be quite relevant to add to the current School article.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Col y costillas (talkcontribs) 11:04, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I do not know who is in charge of the school or college facebook page. This Wikipedia page is not an official Treloar Trust entry, it was created with a teacher and current students as an ICT project.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Col y costillas (talkcontribs) 11:08, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
