In situations like this where the Wikipedia article lacks up to date information because of a lack of up to date refs the best approach is to get the museum to update their website, if you can locate the webmaster, and then use that as a ref once it is done. - Ahunt (talk) 09:42, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure how easy that'll be to have done; I'll try to ask around, but I wouldn't hold your breath. It's a bit of an informal atmosphere there. In the mean time, I figure I'll search the web to see if I can find any references that note, for example, a new (i.e. second) hangar being built. --Noha307 (talk) 15:06, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm... Can I use pictures as a reference? The museum website has photos that clearly show 2 different hangars. In addition, I also found a PDF with a captioned picture that shows presentation of a dedication plaque that I happen to know is for the 2nd hangar, but I don't think the caption for the photo is specific enough to use as a reference.
Also, I'm trying to think of additional information to add to the article; so far, I've only come up with hours of operation and admission price, but I don't think those are very encyclopedic. Any ideas? --Noha307 (talk) 15:46, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately uncaptioned photos can't be used as references as interpreting them is considered original research. I agree that things like hours of operation and admission costs aren't encyclopedic. Usually these sorts of articles are limited by the information in the references you can find. What would be ideal would be to interest your local paper in doing a detailed profile on the museum and then use the published article as a reference! - Ahunt (talk) 23:55, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
