Hello people, I may be being pernickety, but why at the bottom are Triumphs under the Rover Marque? The Triumph Motor page states that the marque is owned by BMW, and as far as I know 'Rover' as an entitly was absorbed by BL in '67 (like Triumph, and others), and resurfaced in 1986. So strictly speaking no Triumph have ever been Rovers (or vice versa). Could lead to confusion for the uninitiated... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.169.9.14 (talk) 10:25, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

@Andy Dingley, can you help us understand how this external link complies with WP:EL, particularly the WP:COPYVIOEL section, as it looks like a link to a scan of a proprietary brochure which is stored on a personal blog website. -- DeFacto (talk). 21:59, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You are, of course, welcome to delete this per strict policy and I won't oppose that. However it's 65 years old, a marketing document that has always been intended for wide public distribution, and Triumph is one of the car makers with the least clear current ownership of their IP (it's not a simple matter to say 'BMW bought it all').
