Updating Taxonomy[edit]

This article lists many species that have been reclassified into Glyptotrox or other genera in the subfamily Troginae as part of Trox. In particular, the subgenus Phoberus of Trox has been lifted back to the status of genus, and so all Phoberus articles redirected under Trox have to be redirected back. We must fix this. Taxonomy has been updated! Subgenera Omorgus, Glyptotrox, and Phoberus have been elevated to genus-status per novel genetic information and taxonomic understanding. Gug01 (talk) 02:35, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
