January 2021: Rolling back cited bio info in biobox[edit]

Wikipedia says that a celebrity's own website is an adequate RS for basic, noncontroversial facts, like marriage info. Would MichaelMaggs please weigh in as to how it's a BLP vio?--Quisqualis (talk) 19:41, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Quisqualis, The subject's ex-wife is not a celebrity, and it's a BLP violation to add her maiden name incorrectly sourced to her own website which does not, so far as I can see, disclose that information. MichaelMaggs (talk) 19:52, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, as I mistakenly read that it was Hunt's own website. A reliable source must still be found to ensure inclusion of the reverted material.--Quisqualis (talk) 20:07, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
