Twenty-dollar bill[edit]

"Subsequently the United States twenty-dollar bill, which features the White House on its reverse, was slightly redesigned to show the change in architectural detail." This statement is not referenced, and it appears to be entirely false, since the twenty-dollar bill depicts the northern facade of the White House, not the southern one. Since it will be easier to remove this sentence than to change the twenty dollar bill, I suggest that the sentence be removed forthwith. DoctorJoeE talk to me! 00:37, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Railing Replaced[edit]

In the 1980's, the railing on the balcony was replaced with one which has a fancier design. Also, the old railing was always painted white, whereas the new railing has always been painted black. I'd love it if someone would investigate all this and add it to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.230.157.175 (talk) 05:36, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cartoons[edit]

The references to the cartoons are no longer working. I found two cartoons on the website of the Truman Museum:

https://www.trumanlibrary.gov/photograph-records/58-419-05 / https://www.trumanlibrary.gov/photograph-records/64-1382

https://www.trumanlibrary.gov/photograph-records/64-1387

But these don't seem to correspond with the article-text about the balcony possibly costing Truman his election. Don't know (don't have time either) what to do with this info, maybe someone else would like to fix this? 31.20.174.158 (talk) 11:57, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Flagging that this issue remains as of Nov. 25, 2023. 2601:547:180:5920:242A:52D7:206D:1002 (talk) 01:12, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
