TCG links not working[edit]

Unfoertunately, TCG has decided to reorganise its web site trustedcomputinggroup.org, which means the links in this article (and several other article, and hundreds of other links across the web) are now broken. I've sent a mail to admin "at-symbol" trustedcomputinggroup.org pointing out this public relations disaster, and I hope they reinstate the old links. - Mark Ryan 138.231.176.8 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 11:56, 10 May 2009 (UTC).[reply]

I found the right pages on the TCG web site and fixed the links. I hope they don't redesign the web site again soon. Stevehanna (talk) 11:46, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Changing "Proprietary" to "Open"[edit]

The lead section of this article was recently edited to change the description of TNC from "open architecture" to "proprietary architecture". This change is incorrect and no references were cited for the change. I would like to change the description back to "open", based on the following reliable sources:

"The Trusted Network Connect Sub Group has defined and released an open architecture and set of standards for endpoint integrity assessment." NAC Vendors Square Off, Network Computing, July 6, 2006 http://www.networkcomputing.com/wireless/product-analysis-network-access-control.php?p=5

"TCG has developed an open architecture and standards for Network Access Control called Trusted Network Connect (TNC)." What is TCG's Trusted Network Connect?, Interop Labs, May 2007 http://www.interop.com/archive/pdfs/2007-04WhatisTCGTNC.pdf

I'll wait a few days and if there are no objections, I'll make that edit. I'll also add those sources to the References section and link them to appropriate text in the article.

No objections so I made this change. --User:Stevehanna —Preceding undated comment added 15:23, 20 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]
