Reinheitsgebot
This beer was never brewed according to the 1515 Reinheitsgebot. Cultured yeast has always been used by Tsingtao, and that was not allowed by the 1516 law. Like so many German beers, this German-influenced beer has used such a dishonest claim as a marketing gimmick. No large-scale commerical beer in the twentieth or twenty-first century has been made according to the 1516 law, but that doesn's stop them from making the false claim. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.68.191.251 (talk) 17:24, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
