Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.
I have amended the wording of this article to make it more readable. It still isn't perfect, and the spelling (tire/tyre) needs tidying - I'll revisit it when I have a bit more time... Paul-b4 09:34, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Popular among those whom the benefits are worth the costs..[edit]
"Road tubeless is gaining popularity among riders for whom the benefits are worth the costs." Of course, anything can be worthwhile if the benefits outweigh the costs.
