"Sweden was also among the top countries with three medals." I only see Sweden twice in the chart? --Golbez 17:01, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Denmark and Sweden each had three men on the six-man team that won the gold in 1900. -- Jonel | Speak 22:00, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, that was a quick response. Thanks! :) --Golbez 22:11, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reason discontinued?[edit]

Does anyone know why this event was discontinued? Rigadoun (talk) 01:35, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was obviously too awesome for mere humans to behold. --130.76.32.15 (talk) 19:25, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Too many wins by teams local to the competition site, I would guess... AnonMoos (talk) 19:05, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The article really needs to explain why it was discontinued. Half the events today have nothing to do with the Olympic motto of "Faster, Higher, Stronger", but this epitomized it. 98.82.24.210 (talk) 01:21, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Had that been the reason, it could have easily been remedied by restricting each country to one team, similar to what's done with soccer. 98.218.229.58 (talk) 18:30, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

question[edit]

Does anyone know the line up for the London Met Semi Finals? My Great Grandfather [Albert Edward Thornhill] was, I believe one of the contestants. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.87.196 (talk) 20:22, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Flag in table[edit]

The flag of South Africa is very anachronistic... AnonMoos (talk) 19:05, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed it was, but I've fixed that now. Thanks for the heads-up! — fourthords | =Λ= | 21:29, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

More details please[edit]

Can someone please explain this competition--I mean, these competitions--in more detail.

  • What is a "club"?
  • What competitions occurred?
  • How many competitions occurred?
  • Are there multiple competitions by, say, weight class?
    • Weight of individual competitors or weight of the combined team (or club)?
  • What is a "mixed team"?
