  • ... that black rails live on Tule Island? Source: "Sacramento, San Joaquin Delta Feasibility Report and Water Resource Study: Environmental Impact Statement". September 2, 1982
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)
  • Comment: If you can think of a better hook than this, I'm all ears. QPQ will be forthcoming soon.

  • 5x expanded, no copyvio issues, hook is interesting and fine as it is.... I didn't know what a black rail or Tule Island was. Hook is in article and followed by citation to a reference that requires subsription. Fern Island is red-linked 3 times... suggest adjusting. Ping me when QPQ done please. Comments

  • Similar to the other small island article, this feels too short to be a good article but we'll go with the flow and see what we get.
    • I think it might be a stretch for this one; I scoured existing references pretty well, but I could try to come up with some more.
  • "farm potatoes, which now consists mostly" perhaps "but which now" or "and which".
    • Green checkmarkY Have copyedited this sentence a little.
  • "USGS aerial imagery ..." fragment, no full stop.
    • Green checkmarkY Fixed.
  • " City of Stockton" why is "City" capitalised?
    • Green checkmarkY No particularly good reason, fixed.
  • "as a fishing location" you didn't link fishing in the lead?
    • Green checkmarkY Sure, why not.
  • "the 1959 musical" no need for that year.
    • Green checkmarkY Fixed.
  • "Fern-Headreach-Tule complex" what is that?
    • Green checkmarkY Added some description in "Geography".
  • "The Modesto Bee" The is part of the name.
    • Green checkmarkY Fixed.
  • "$5 to $6 million" maybe $5–6 million. And inflate.
    • Green checkmarkY Done.
  • Ref 6 SHOUTING.
    • Green checkmarkY

Fixed. That's it. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 18:09, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
