@GSS-1987: I seek your help about one of my created article Tune Mere Jaana (Emptiness) which has been redirected due to lack of notability. But I am sure that it fulfills every criteria of notability for a song to have an article. I has lots of significant sources and coverages. And also as an Indian I know its notable enough. Please help in this regard if you can. Jiami (talk) 07:47, 7 April 2017 (UTC)

@Jiami: I just saw the article and I am not sure if it meets our standard for notability but if you feel that the topic is notable enough and you want to spend more time developing it, I suggest you go through the article for creation process which allows you time to work on the article and also gives people with more experience a chance to comment on what else might be needed to make a valid article so if this sounds good to you, you can ask me or make a request at WP:RQM to move your article to draft space without leaving a redirect behind. Pinging KDS4444 to share his opinion. Thank you – GSS (talk|c|em) 11:00, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
@GSS-1987: Thank you very much for your kind reply. I shall wait for the opinion of KDS4444 as the song fulfills WP:NSONG and then I would request you to help me give the priviledge to redevelop this. Regards. Jiami (talk) 12:09, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
User:GSS-1987 hit the nail on the head. Now then, if you are certain the song is notable, and you live in a place where you are able to "sense" its notability, then what is needed in order to retain a standalone article is evidence of this song's notability— not merely discussion of the song in the course of an article about the artist or the album but discussion of the song itself, and such evidence needs to come from what appear to be reliable independent sources. My decision to redirect may have been preemptive: the word "tune" needs to be removed from the article namesapce regardless. (and thank you to User: GSS-1987 for pinging me). User:KDS4444 Thanks for your opinion. The word "tune" doesn't mean here the english word "tune". Its a Hindi language word meaning "you". And as the title of the articles were with the word "emptiness" and the album name is also emptiness, so you might have thought that the news coverage was about the album. But actually the song itself is known as emptiness being the title song of the album and the articles were about the song, not the album. Thats why the song name is Tune mere jaana (Emptiness) as its popular as Emptiness. Regards. Jiami (talk) 13:53, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Fair enough. In that case, the article needs to be renamed to simply "Tune mere jaana" or "Tune Mere Jaana" with no parenthetical disambiguation (because such is not necessary as there are no other articles with this same name). KDS4444 (talk) 15:32, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
@KDS4444: If I do that name change, I would probably deprive many people who would search in name of Emptiness . The song is titled as "Tune Mere Jaana (Emptiness)" also because it has two parts in itself, one on Hindi and one on English. Also many newspapers coverages, which I found on search, used the name emptiness for the song. So, if I use only Tune Mere Jaana as name, when I shall give some reference using "Empiness" as the name of the news article, some of users will think that those are coverages of the album, not the song itself as they woudn't know at first site that the song contains both the names together just like you were confused. Probably, ipso facto, it was already named as "Tune Mere Jaana (Emptiness) in the artist's article already. Thanks & Regards. Jiami (talk) 16:21, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Are you aware you can also make an entry at Emptiness (disambiguation) for this song? And also, shouldn't this entire conversation be happening on the talk page for the article rather than this editor's personal talk page? KDS4444 (talk) 16:37, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
@KDS4444: You suggest what should be done. If you think that name should be changed, I'll. You are experienced enough regarding wiki editing. I just shared my views as author of the article. Jiami (talk) 16:59, 7 April 2017 (UTC)

@KDS4444: Before changing the article title I suggest we draftify it and let it go through the AfC process, what you think? GSS (talk|c|em) 17:17, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think that is the best of all possible routes to pursue here, esp. inasmuch as the author has made clear that he/ she doesn't have all that much experience creating/ editing articles (39 edits as of today). AfC will be able to give the article a thorough vetting and determine whether or not it can stand on its own. Excellent idea. KDS4444 (talk) 12:47, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@KDS4444: @GSS-1987: Even after meeting all the primary criteria of WP:NSONG if you people think that its on doubt, then please help me in regards to Afc process on how I should proceed. Thanks. Jiami (talk) 07:43, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You can start by visiting WP:AfC, yes? KDS4444 (talk) 12:25, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
