The band's swan song[edit]

If someone wants to work this poorly written and unattributed claim that the album was intended to be the band's swan song, it should go on the page for the album, not the single.

It was written by the band's guitarist George Kooymans, who got the inspiration and title for the song from the famous TV series The Twilight Zone. The syntesizer accords in the intro of the song are based uopn the openingtune of the series and also in its texts ,storyline and the videoclip the influence of the series is evident. Twilight Zone appears on their 1982 album "Cut", which supposedly was to be their 'final cut', their last album before disbanding. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.185.207.204 (talk) 15:14, 6 November 2008 (UTC) [reply]

Reverse lyrics[edit]

You added that there is a line backtracked into the song in March 2008. I've never heard of this and am surprised it has not been questioned. I couldn't find it on Youtube and Google did not show any good results for the line. Daniel Christensen (talk) 07:32, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I moved that claim from a previous "Trivia" section that appeared later in the article. It was added back in 2007 by another (unregistered) user (see here). I have tagged the claim with "{{fact}}" and it should be removed if there is no basis for it. — AjaxSmack 20:23, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The reversed part is 2 later lines & chords played in reverse, the volume on the chords are louder so it masks the full line. Added note to the article. KaizenNeko (talk) 23:32, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Could this have been caused by tape print-through? AMCKen (talk) 04:56, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Note in the references[edit]

There's a footnote stored as a reference: "^ This song length refers to the full album version. The edited single version was 4:40."

Don't think that's where that belongs. CrocodilesAreForWimps (talk) 20:59, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not What The Song is About[edit]

While the title may be Twilight Zone, this is actually a tribute to The Bourne Identity (still just a novel at the time). The song is a scene from the book. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.8.223.15 (talk) 14:17, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
