'Notes' section should be removed

In my opinion, the 'Notes' section of this article should be removed if no notes are going to be added to it as in my opinion it is pointless to include an empty section in the article. Xboxsponge15 (talk) 20:18, 8 January 2020 (UTC)

layout

"The QWERTY keyboard layout, developed for typewriters, remains the standard for computer keyboards.[5]" -- this is only true of at most some Latin-type keyboards. Cyrillic -letter keyboards as well as those for other alphabets are different. Kdammers (talk) 04:22, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

It isn't even true for most Latin types. See AZERTY and QWERTZ for starters. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 09:29, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

trigrams?

"The Russian layout, for instance, puts the common trigrams ыва, про, and ить on adjacent keys" - I don't know if this is true for typewriters, but on the hp laptop with Russian/Latin layout I am using to type this, it is not true unless there is a hidden shift to get them.
