Problems with sources. Note #1 is WP:Questionable and WP:Biased. Same problem with #5 and #9. In #5, the "lambasting" consists of "Twitter lit up" and one quote from a grad student. Notes #8 and #11 have problems with blatant cherrypicking and context. The original editor undermines the allegations with such poor sourcing. Further investigation[edit]

Found the following deleted in history, which needs to be noted here. Some of the reasons for USCMO suggesting further investigation into claims that Turkey carried out an alleged genocide are: For one, the Republic of Turkey did not exist at the time. For two, massacres were carried out by all sides and none of them were government commissioned. The government of Turkey has always invited sincere historians to research the open archives of the state.^[1]^[2] It is worth adding that the officers who carried out illegal atrocities within the Turkish Army were taken to court and sentenced to death while no Armenian officers were held responsible for atrocities committed against civilian Ottoman villagers. Furthermore, some Armenians still pursue a terrorist agenda through organizations such as ASALA. 176.219.137.129 (talk) 04:06, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
