The tennis tournament is referenced as "US Open" in many official publications (including logos), and the USTA owns that trademark. In contrast, "U.S. Open" is owned by the USGA, and so their logo has the stops in it. Starwrath (talk) 21:37, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
