GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
    • The phrase " In 1930, the southern end was rerouted south of Somerset in rural northwestern Lenawee County to south more directly south to the Ohio state line" needs to be reworded.
    • "The business loop for Clare splits from the main freeway south of the city. This business loop is also signed to provide access to eastbound US 10 via Bus. US 10, which US 127 crosses just south of the Clare County line.", should avoid using "business loop" at the beginning of two consecutive sentences.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
    • "From the south side of Jackson northerly, it is mostly a four-lane freeway. A notable exception is a 16-mile (26 km) stretch from north of St. Johns to just south of Ithaca, where the highway is built as an expressway and speed limits are lower", you should describe what the highway south of Jackson is like in terms of lanes, median or not, and whether or not it is controlled access.
    • "The speed limit drops to 65 from 70 miles per hour (105 from 113 km/h)", it is necessary to mention speed limit changes in the article. I was told mentioning speed limits in the route description is indiscriminate information. Also, you seem to single out this speed limit change.
    • "The northern end was shifted slightly in 1950 in the city of Lansing when US 27 was rerouted", where was the route shifted from and to?
    • In the future section, when was I-73 first proposed to run through Michigan? Also, I don't know if I would cover I-73 in the future section when it seems to be a past proposal.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I will place the article on hold for some fixes to be made. Dough4872 01:40, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fixes applied. I will not remove the I-73 content as it is still an active proposal in federal legislation, even if MDOT has all but definitively canceled it, well "abandoned further study" as the article states. There are groups actively lobbying for it. As for the speed limits, I've amended the prose to note that that section used to be only 55 and a speed trap. I will pass the article. Dough4872 02:58, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
