  1. "it runs for 210 miles (338 km)" - why is mile spelled out but km isn't?
  2. "It forms part of the Niles Bypass, a four-lane expressway south of Niles and runs concurrently with Interstate 94 (I-94) around the south side of Ypsilanti." - does the Bypass run currently with 94? If so, say "south of Niles that runs". But if not, I'd switch mentioning the I-94 bit with the Niles Bypass bit. It helps with syntax.
  3. Why not mention in the first lead paragraph where the route terminates? You say it ends, why not say what road it ends at?
  4. "but it followed the Lake Michigan shoreline further north " - if it's distance, use "farther"
  5. "around the end of Dayton Lake" - I don't think you need to mention "the end"
  6. "US 12 turns northwesterly along the bypass east of downtown" - is this a typo that it goes to the NW? Most of the route description implies that it goes from west to east
  7. "At exit 181 on I-94, US 12 leaves Michigan Avenue to follow the freeway" - this could be clearer. Perhaps - "US 12 leaves Michigan Avenue to join I-94 at exit 181 on the latter interstate."?
  8. "East of this loop" - I don't see a loop mentioned here
  9. Was there really nothing major happening historically to the route after 1962? No upgrades, expansions to four lanes, future plans?

All in all a good read! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 04:22, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Numbering for replies:

  1. That's the default in {{convert}} that has been that way for the entire time I've been using that template.
  2. I left the ordering alone (west to east), but clarified more that these are on opposite sides of the state.
  3. Added.
  4. Switched.
  5. Dropped.
  6. Yeah, that's a typo. I'm good at mixing my easts and wests up in writing for some reason.
  7. Changed.
  8. Changed, and working, I hope.
  9. Oddly enough, no. Nothing's been changed in an appreciable manner other than the terminus changes in Detroit and the memorial/byway names. Anything the state has done has been too minor to note.

Thanks for the review, Hurricanehink. Hopefully those changes are enough to pass the article. Imzadi 1979  06:02, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
