Structure[edit]

Will some more info (sourced, of course) about the expos of each year be added?? In its present state, the article repeats sentences such as "UK Games Expo 2008 was the second Expo. This was held at the Clarendon Suites, Hagley Road in Birmingham." This can be greatly reduced for the benefit fo all readers... I do not want to start changign it drastically (and perhaps fruitlessly) now, please add info soon. Thank you, --WikiHannibal (talk) 21:23, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Restructuring the history of the show[edit]

I'm going to streamline the history of the show a little as there does seem to be a lot of repetition. I've dumped the previous info in here for now for reference

UK Games Expo 2007[edit]

UK Games Expo 2007 was the first Expo. This was held at the Clarendon Suites, Hagley Road in Birmingham. Unique visitors 900, Attendance 1200

UK Games Expo 2008[edit]

UK Games Expo 2008 was the second Expo. This was held at the Clarendon Suites, Hagley Road in Birmingham. Unique visitors 1200, Attendance 2000. The event saw the official release of 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons in the UK.

UK Games Expo 2009[edit]

UK Games Expo 2009 was the third Expo. This was held at the Clarendon Suites, Hagley Road in Birmingham. Unique visitors 1800, Attendance 2500.

UK Games Expo 2010[edit]

UK Games Expo 2010 was the fourth Expo and the first run by a partnership called Birmingham Games Expo. This was held at the Clarendon Suites, Hagley Road in Birmingham. Unique visitors 2000, Attendance 2800.

UK Games Expo 2011[edit]

UK Games Expo 2011 was the fifth Expo. This was held at the Clarendon Suites, Hagley Road in Birmingham. Unique visitors 2455, Attendance 3585.

UK Games Expo 2012[edit]

UK Games Expo 2012 was the sixth Expo. This was the first one to be sponsored by Mayfair Games. This was also the last held at the Clarendon Suites, Hagley Road in Birmingham. Unique visitors 2879, Attendance 4046.

UK Games Expo 2013[edit]

UK Games Expo 2013 was the seventh Expo. This was the first to be held at the NEC Hilton Metropole in Birmingham. Unique visitors 3538, Attendance 5734.

UK Games Expo 2014[edit]

UK Games Expo 2014 is the eighth Expo and the second to be held at the NEC Hilton Metropole. Chris Barrie and Monte Cook were among the spcial guests of the show It was attended by 6000 unique individuals and has attendance of 10,000.

UK Games Expo 2015[edit]

UK Games Expo 2015 is the ninth Expo and the third to be held solely at the NEX Hilton Metropole. This was the first year to see a full three days of access to tournaments and trade halls. Guests this year included comedians James Cook and John Robertson performing their hugely popular Edinburgh Fringe shows Always Be Rolling and The Dark Room. 2021 dates error[edit]

Panel on right is incorrect, AFAIK. I think the expo ends 1-Aug-2021 not 4-Aug. Correct? Paul Beardsell (talk) 18:07, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
