One and only reference[edit]

I realize articles are supposed to cite multiple sources, however given the obscurity of this ship and the fact that the source is the US Navy one source should be sufficient. Anynobody 07:11, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additions to the article[edit]

In an attempt to help clear up the difficulties with this article, I:

added a first para with the required ship classification, plus both designations.
added the Lapwing class template at bottom
added a note indicating that there is a HUGE history of the ship at DANFS
cited the DANFS article
added an additional external link
added categories

This article describes the ship's activity during the Pearl Harbor attack. It might be a good idea to add other level 2 headlines with selections from DANFS showing other facets in the career of this fine ship. Wikited 17:02, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
